MEMBERSHIP

Welcome!

The YMCA is driven by community need, guided by community volunteers, and open to all. A not-for-profit organization, the YMCA is committed to providing opportunities to help people of all ages develop and grow in spirit, mind, and body.

Membership is at the heart of the YMCA. It allows us to involve people, not just serve them. It gives us an opportunity to impact communities through more meaningful and enduring relationships. In our transient, high-speed, high-tech, and impersonal world, YMCA members feel a sense of belonging. They develop an affiliation with the core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring that bring meaning to their lives.

Membership Types

The YMCA provides two types of membership. Full Privilege membership provides individuals and families full use of the facility they joined. (Montgomery County branches have a reciprocal use program.)  Program membership does not include facility usage and is limited strictly to the time and location of the class you are taking.
