Our Philosophy
YMCA Day Camps strive to provide your child with a unique opportunity to learn and grow, to create and explore, and to participate in a variety of activities. We promote healthy spirits, minds and bodies in all our indoor and outdoor settings.
Summer Camp >> Community
We offer a place for your child to spend the summer meeting new friends, playing games, creating arts and crafts, exploring science and technology, swimming, going on field trips, appreciating nature and discovering and valuing our many cultures.
Health and Safety First!
Our YMCA day camp staff are trained professionals. All YMCA day camp programs are well-supervised and maintain the highest standards of safety and program quality. All equipment from swimming pools to buses are regularly maintained and inspected to ensure the safety and security of your child.
Convenient Hours and Locations

Traditional Camps
Traditional camp offers children a fun place to spend the summer doing a variety of activities. They explore the world of music and nature, discover drama, create with arts and crafts, splash in the pool and learn to swim, and participate in non-competitive games and sports.
Our traditional camps are for ages 4 to 16. Each program is planned with the child's age and interests in mind.
Specialty Camps YMCA specialty camps provide the opportunity for your child to concentrate on a specific area of interest. Specialized activities are incorporated with traditional activities for a well-rounded camp experience. These camps help children develop their individual skills and talents whether in a sport or art form without sacrificing the spirit and fun of being at camp. They build confidence and self-esteem, encourage participation with the team, and develop a sense of self-discipline.

Teen Leadership Programs are designed especially for the older campers, ages 12 to 15. Teens may enjoy either a traditional camp program with additional field trips, or a number of specialty programs to build greater skills in certain areas. Others may combine recreation and leadership skill development programs.
Counselor-in-Training Program is a leadership training program where participants assist the counselors and Camp Directors in our day camps. Participants must have completed the eighth grade to participate in the program and are supervised by senior counselors.
