Building Bridges campaign

During 2004, the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington provided $3.5 million in financial assistance to more than 20,000 low income children, adults and family members of the community.  This year’s campaign goal of $1,600,000 will help fund programs such as:

● Adult and Family Services: the YMCA welcomes individuals and families in need by offering scholarships for children, day camp, membership and other character-developing programs.

● Child Care and Day Camp Scholarships: affordable, dependable, quality child care is essential for working parents. The YMCA provides all families access to this vital service and financial assistance is offered to ensure that everyone who wants to participate in programs will have the opportunity.

● Youth Outreach: as children grow, we adapt to meet their needs. Teen programs provide academic, social and leadership skills for youth all year long.

These are just a few of the initiatives that your gift to the YMCA helps make possible. Please make your gift to the 2005 Building Bridges Campaign today.
