 As a cornerstone of the YMCA's goals and mission, all programs and services are designed to encourage the development of strong bodies, sound minds and healthy spirits. We've known about the connection between the mind and body since we first began in 1852. That's why we offer programs that seek to strengthen that connection using time-honored and traditional methods from around the world. We offer alternative activities which have been around for ages like Tai Chi and Yoga, martial arts training in disciplines like Tae Kwon Do, and the flexible toning system of Pilates.
